Most Helpful Members

(6 posts)
  1. We are dedicating this thread to identifying and appreciating the most helpful members of the MobilityNigeria community. By this, we mean members who volunteer useful information the most, and who chip in to help others with answers to questions and resolutions to issues.

This includes contributions on both the main site and in the forums.

In case you are not aware, as a member of the MobilityNigeria community, you may send in reviews and news items for publishing on the main site, with full credits to you. Alternatively, you can post them here in the forums by yourself.

    Exclusion List
Yom, Dayo and Onome, being members of the Alireta team are excluded from being nominated. We will update the exclusion list as other members of the Alireta team signup and become active as individuals on MobilityNigeria.

    Rewards
We are not concluded yet, but we are looking at having a little something for the Most Helpful Member of each year based on feedback from this thread. We will announce our decision later but feel free to submit your suggestions.

So, go ahead, nominate members and tell us about how they have been of help to you.

This thread has been quiet for about a month. Why is everyone shy of joining this discussion?

    I nominate eyebeekay.

He has been the most controversial contributor to this web site and I do gain a lot when you enguage him in arguements.

He is a very intelligent member with lots of information, ideas and theories, which is countered often times but he will always stand by his words. ''nothing is right and nothing is wrong''. Your episode with him on people hacking networks to browse for free was quite revealing, i'll call it thriller 2009.
I allways look forward to his comments.

Eyebeekay, hope someday you'll review your nokia5800 and some of the numerous 3rd party application that makes it tick. God bless you.

  4. Thanks, Kay123. Who says being controversial doesn't pay?

The original post has been updated to reflect your nomination. Keep it coming, guys. We'll keepupdating the original post as fresh nominations come in.

Hello Yom. i finally i get to meet a nigerian who has successfully installed custom rom on the x1. i have an x1 as well and really interested in making it run on the touch x 10. u suggested. Can you help give a step by step detail on how to do this? I have read all i could from XDA-developers, but most of the phones there are carrier (t-mobile, orange, vodafone e.t.c) branded while mine is not. i dont want to get it wrong.

My x1 came with manufacturer software and not a carrier’s (orange, t-mobile, vodafone e.t.c). i am tired of just installing 3rd party apps on my fones.. i want to join the bleeding users as u grouped them). i have had so much fun with my x1. though looking at moving to the HTC HD2 later in the year when it becomes less expensive. But b4 then, i want to have the custom rom touch x running on my x1. Please, is there anyone that can help me out there?

    Hello belushi,

I'll be glad to help out. However, this thread is not the right place to have made this request. Posting a ROM flashing request under a topic dedicated to nominating the most helpful members is off-topic.

Create a new topic under Smartphones & Mobile Computers with this request and I'll respond with the required info.

    Cheers.
