Glo sucs, mtn is it.after much hype about glo 1 submarine cable glo is not there yet i wonder if it will take them all eternity to get there.i subscribed to glo's g work for #6000 in Abuja where the network is supposed to be hsdpa what i get is burst of speed that grinds to a halt.if this is how their so called glo 1 submarine fiber optic cable is going to be running i better stick with mtn night data plan which rocks at least from midnight to 5am.

Alireta.
no, there is nothing wrong with the speeds published, just that you mean 250kB/s and not 250kb/s. similarly, 70kB and not 70kb/s. check the unit.
1 kB/s = 8kb/s.

Funmi,

Ah, I see. Well, there's very little you can do about that without a 3rd party app. Almost all mobile OS platforms require a 3rd party app for screen capture.

Cheers.

Well when you are a mobile app beta tester a mobile screen shot with screen resolution of not less than 340*240 becomes a necessity.

And for someone who consider booting up a laptop frequently to stay updated an hardwork with the exception of downloading or uploading large files or stuff that involves a desktop view other 3rd party apps is important.

The WP7 series has as one of its minimum hardware specs: 8GB of flash memory. The hardware manufacturers will obviously increase this if they feel the need to.

Digressing a bit, i wonder why microsoft has set the release of the first WP7 series to late 2010. Other platform developers arent sleeping you know; and with mobile technology evolving at a very fast rate, the innovations that microsoft has announced may just become mainstream 10 months down the line.

Funmi,

Why do you consider a screenshot application a necessity? I don't. I only use them once - when doing a review, and almost never use them again.

In answer to your question, No; none of the above phones I listed have screenshot functionality built-in. You'll have to install a 3rd party app for that - or use a camera to take pictures of the screen.

brym!

Try the YouTube link again. I just tried it 4 times now and it worked.

Hmmm... you just got me thinking though. I'll see if I can find custom ROMs for the B7610, and if I do.... your guess is as good as mine :-)

Can't really compare between the two but I have a Starcomms 3G and my Glo 3G doesn't come close in terms of speed or stability so I can say Glo is NOT delivering 3G quality service. Highly disappointing with all d hype about Glo1. I wonder if it will make any difference. Can't speak for MTN since I haven't tried it.
